Riley Stoker Boiler

NOx Controls Used: IFGR


This chemical plant client was required to reduce their natural/purge gas NOx emissions below 0.06 lb/mmbtu. The boiler was a 350lb/hr steam Riley Stoker boiler with six burners. The Patented ETEC IFGR NOx Control system was installed from the stack to the forced draft inlet, as shown in the figure below. The IFGR NOx Control system operation, designed to provide 30% flue gas recirculation flow, reduced the natural/purge gas fuel NOx emissions by 86%, as shown in the figures below.
